Urgotul® Duo is an absorbent sterile non-occlusive, non-adhesive, lipido-colloid dressing, made of a polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid (carboxymethylcellulose) and vaseline particles, combined with a protective absorbent pad (100% viscose).

Urgotul® Duo forms a lipido-colloid gel on contact with the exudates, which permits healing in a moist environment, proliferation of fibroblast, painless and atraumatic removal and protection of the wound.

Urgotul® Duo is indicated in the local treatment of acute wounds (burns, skin abrasions, traumatic wounds…) and chronic wounds (leg ulcers, pressure ulcers…) at the granulation/epithelialisation stage and also in the treatment of wounds caused by congenital epidermolysis bullosa.

Urgotul® Duo is pliable and very comfortable especially indicated for covering wounds located in awkward areas.

Urgotul® Duo Border/Trio is the first ready-to-use dressing, made of a sterile non-occlusive lipido-colloid dressing combined with a protective absorbent pad and a semi-permeable backing with an adhesive border.

The TLC contact layer allows effective healing and fibroblast proliferation by creating a moist environment, which permits atraumatic removal.

The protective absorbent pad absorbs low level of exudates, prevents maceration and maintains integrity of peri-wound skin. The adhesive border is convenient. It is indicated in the local treatment of acute moderate exuding wounds.

In contact with the wound exudate, the silver sulphate breaks down (Ag2S04+2 Ag+ + S04) and releases the Ag+ ion, while the Carboxymethylcellulose particles become hydrated and swell to form a surface hydrocolloidal film.

Dissolved in this way, the silver ions join the lipido-colloid crown of the interface in an active form that is the source of their antibacterial activity.

The release of Ag+ from the silver sulphate and its bioavailability at the surface of the lipidocolloid interface are exudates dependent.

Yes, UrgoCell® Silver / Cellosorb® Ag is a super-absorbent lipido-colloid dressing composed of an absorbent polyurethane foam pad combined with a lipido-colloid interface (TLC) impregnated with silver salts.

UrgoCell® Silver forms a lipido-colloid gel on contact with the exudates, which creates moist conditions promoting the healing process and which prevents adhesion of the dressing to the wound. Exudates are absorbed instantly and vertically, limiting the risks of maceration of the wound edges, and are retained in the dressing.

UrgoCell® Silver is effective on resistant organisms: MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus), VRE (Vancomycin-Resistant Enterococcus Faecalis) and MRB (Multi-Resistant Bacteria).

TLC-NOSF is a new combination of the patented lipido-colloid technology (TLC) with a new compound NOSF.

NOSF is an innovative compound derived from the chemical oligosaccharide family, which have demonstrated Matrix Metalloproteinase inhibiting properties and its clinical efficacy in terms of retriggering the healing in chronic leg ulcers with a delay in healing process. It combined with a lipido-colloid TLC matrix (Urgotul Start) or an absorbent lipido-colloid TLC matrix (UrgocellStart/CelloStart) .

The lipido-colloid technology maintains the moist environment necessary for the healing process and establish a soft contact with wound and surrounding skin. NOSF re-triggers the wound healing process.

The polysaccharide structure of NOSF partially dissolves to form a colloidal substance capable of binding onto all the surfaces of the wound. NOSF also interacts with the metalloproteinases present in the exudate, reducing their quantity and inhibiting their detrimental activity obstructing healing.

The TLC matrix, the vector for diffusion of NOSF, maintains a moist environment in the wound, fostering the healing process and the free circulation of growth factors. This inhibition of proteolytic activity with respect to the components of the ECM restores the metabolic balance within the wound and promotes growth factors.

The mobilisation / multiplication of dermal fibroblasts is possible once more, accompanied by a resumption of their new matrix component synthesis activity, enabling dermal granulation to be retriggered.

K2 is a kit of a two-layer compression bandage.

• Layer 1: K-Tech, a knitted layer which provides compression, absorbency and protection to bony prominences,
• Layer 2: K-Press, a cohesive bandage which provides the additional pressure required to obtain the therapeutic pressure of 40mmHg at the ankle and maintains the bandage system in place.

The bandage permits very high levels of comfort for the patient and the possibility to wear regular shoes. For the clinician, K2 allows safe and accurate compression on first application and effective reduction of oedema in venous leg ulcer management. K Two is indicated in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, venous leg ulcers and oedema.

Sanyrène is an exclusive composition of hyperoxygenated glycerides of essential fatty acids (60% linoleic acids) and tocopherols (vitamin E).

Sanyrène halves the risk of pressure ulcer (GIPPS study) and preserves tissue level of oxygenation during pressure (study of TCPO2 in humans).

This exclusive composition increases cellular renewal and prevents skin dehydration.
