The new exclusive technology of fibroblast proliferation

 Presentation of TLC Contact

Because healing is renewal, Laboratoires URGO have developed TLC Contact (Lipido-Colloid Contact technology), micro-adherent technology providing proliferation of fibroblast production for enhanced reconstruction of the dermis.

The new exclusive innovation consists in the coating of a polyurethane pad by a micro-adherent lipido-colloid matrix. The TLC Contact matrix has been developed using TLC Technology with the addition of functional polymers in the mass.
In contact with the wound, these polymers interact with living cells in their environment due to their physicochemical properties and encourage migration and proliferation of dermal fibroblasts.

This unique composition facilitates the manipulation, atraumatic removal and dressing repositioning due to the micro-adherent properties.

 Mode of action

In contact with wound exudates, TLC Contact matrix forms a lipido-colloid gel. This creates and maintains the moist conditions essential for the healing process and prevents the dressing sticking to the wound ensuring completely painless dressing changes.

  • Gelification on contact with the wound to maintain a moist wound environment
  • Stimulating action of fibroblast proliferation

Advantages

  • Effective healing by creating a moist environment
  • Stimulation of fibroblast proliferation
  • Improvement of surrounding skin
  • Non traumatic care of newly formed tissue
  • Painless removal
  • Dressing repositioning thanks to micro-adherent properties
