 Super-absorbent hydrocellular dressing

Description

Micro-adherent Urgocell® Contact NA / Cellosorb® Non adhesive is a super-absorbent hydrocellular dressing equipped with new TLC-Contact Technology. This new dressing is composed of a micro-adherent lipido-colloid matrix (lipido-colloid particles + micro-adherent polymers) coated on a high conformability super-absorbent foam with a high breathable backing. 

The first TLC Contact pro-healing micro-adherent dressing.

As well as the healing properties related to its polymer composition, micro-adherent UrgoCell® Contact NA/ Cellosorb® Non adhesive absorbs exudate and forms a lipido-colloid gel in contact with the wound. This creates and maintains the moist conditions essential for the healing process and prevents the dressing sticking to the wound ensuring completely painless dressing changes.

Indications

Micro-adherent Urgocell® Contact NA / Cellosorb® Non adhesive is indicated for the treatment of all exuding wounds:

• Chronic wounds: pressure ulcers, ulcers, diabetic foot, ...
• Acute wounds: burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, ...
• Cancerous wounds

Due to the non-adhesive nature of the dressing, Urgocell® Contact NA / Cellosorb® Non adhesive is recommended in the treatment of wounds with fragile surrounding skin.
